About CDDF
Community Development & Democracy Foundation (COMDEF) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization
contributing to community development activities across Sri Lanka. Established in 2004 by a team
of professionals experienced in Public Administration, Social Work, Human Rights, Project Planning,
and Management.
CDDF has collaborated with government institutions and international donor agencies such as UNDP,
Save the Children, CIDA, UNICEF, World Bank, and ADB. Participatory methodologies and bottom-up
approaches guide all programmes and projects.

Mission: Making a just and equitable society through community empowerment.
Goal: Poverty reduction of communities through capacity development interventions.
